BENSOS Detergenza ecologica

Environmentally friendly detergency

BenSos: sustainable wellbeing

Bensos' detergents – for household and industrial/institutional use - show good washing properties as well as the newest ecological features on the market, that make them the ideal products for the consumer who cares for his health and environment preservation.

Here are the main features of Bensos' products:

    all the chemicals used to build our detergents are rapidly biodegradable according to OECD Tests 301;
  • all the components have been selected for their very good toxicological profile;
  • all the components have been selected for their low toxicity for aquatic organisms;
  • bioaccumulating chemicals have been excluded;
  • anaerobically totally non biodegradable chemicals have been excluded;
  • ethoxylated surfactants have been selected to have a low ethoxylation degree and propoxylated tensides are excluded;
  • enzimes have been excluded, because they produce allergy sensitization;
  • very innovative: we are doing FULL PRODUCT rapid biodegradability tests (Test OECD 301 modified);
  • we aimed our efforts to produce detergents with a good washing power, comparable to conventional non ecological detergents;
  • bottles and tanks are made with Polyethylene (HDPE), 100% reciclable;
  • Bensos' formulations are patented in Italy and are going to be protected by a PCT patent.

All these features are explained at page Criteria. A very special feature of our products is the COMPLETE ABSENCE OF TOXIC OR NOT BIODEGRADABLE SEQUESTERING AGENTS (as: phosphates, EDTA, NTA, polyacrilates and not biodegradable polycarboxylates, phosphonates). Instead, we use only last generation molecules, which contribute to our products efficacy even for professional cleaning, are all rapidly aerobically biodegradable (OECD Tests 301 A-F) and show very low human and aquatic toxicity.

Some products contain preservatives; they are available without preservative too, on request.

According to our ethycal choice, we chose CAES - Ethycal Assurance Consortium.
