I'm a chemist, keen on environmental matters.
Before studying detergency, I worked as analytical and environmental chemist;
then I worked in a paper mill and for an ISO 14000 certification study.
Some years ago I started to develop one of my personal interests:
projecting environmentally friendly detergents formulations.
In searching for raw materials, I transferred passion and severity
as much as possible. Sometimes I made more difficult this search by myself,
trying to respect restrictive criteria I created.
This way of working is obviously slower than usual, but it allows me not only
to bear my ideas with more determination, but also to justify every single choose
with a scientific background of data. Very important is to keep modesty
towards people who may teach me something, but also towards scientific data:
sometimes I was very convinced about the safetyness of a substance, then
more recent academic studies "forced" me to change it...
My job is very interesting just because there's always something to learn
and to improve, looking for the best way to safe environment and health.
