Bensos’ Social Responsibility as a natural detergents producer<\/p>\n

In 2007 Bensos was enrolled in the Suppliers’ Register of the Province of Milan.
\nThe Register asked to participate to the \u201cNearby the Companies\u201d project, complying with a policy about social responsibility: workers treatment, raw materials suppliers evaluation, environmental matters, market policy, etc.). The process was supervised by Bureau Veritas.<\/p>\n

\nThe principles taken into consideration were the following:
\n\u2013 PEOPLE and WORK ENVIRONMENT:
\nhealth and safety; freedom to associate; workers’ management; working time, holidays, permissions; salary; child labour; forced labour; suppliers; management system. [regulatory references: SA8000, ISO 18001.]
\n\u2013 NATURAL ENVIRONMENT:
\nenvironmental issues; suppliers; management system. [regulatory references: ISO 14001, EMAS.]
\n\u2013 CUSTOMERS and PRODUCT QUALITY:
\nrelationship with the customers; product creation; suppliers; management system. [regulatory references: ISO 9001.]
\n\u2013 COMPANY MANAGEMENT and ETHYCS IN BUSINESS.
\n[regulatory references: ISO 26000 (Draft), Social Value Standard, GRI (Global Reporting Initiative).]
\n\u2013 RELATIONSHIP WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY.
\n[regulatory references: OCSE Guideline, ISO 26000 (Draft), Social Value Standard, GRI (Global Reporting Initiative).]\nAccording to the policy, Bensos complied a Charter of Values. This document is not a list of empty words, but is a sincere and honest purpose.<\/p>\n

From 2010, for safety and health reasons (particularly to prevent back pain and inflammatory deseases), Bensos chose 20 L tanks instead of 25 L.
\nTanks, bottles and labels are made exclusively by HDPE (high density polyethylene) or PP (polypropilene). Bensos excluded multilayer materials, that are not riciclable.
\nBensos does not use slowly degradable raw materials higly soluble in water (ex.: polyvynilic alcohol, currently used for \u201ceco doses\u201d hydrosoluble bags).
\nBensos developed good relationships with local authorities working about disadvantaged people and disabled people.
\nEvery year Bensos supports many non-governmental organization (NGO) such as Emergency, M\u00e9d\u00e9cins sans Fronti\u00e8res, SoleTerre.
\nBensos selects thoroughly raw materials and services (banks, insurance) suppliers. Particularly, Bensos buys materials preferably coming from nations, whose governments established regulations about natural environment, freedom to associate and health and safety for workers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
