In order to help you to choose the right way of washing, here are some <strong>guidelines<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>stainless steel cutlery and pots<\/strong>, <strong>porcelain or ceramic dishes and cups\u00a0<\/strong>are generally compatible with machine dishwashing;<\/li>\n<li>among kitchen tools, some of them (spoons, whisks, knives) do not present any problems; instead plastic tools, plastic inserted in steel, etc. could be damaged, so it is recommended to read carefully the tool instructions;<\/li>\n<li><strong>glasses\u00a0<\/strong>are generally suitable to be washed by machine; however some more delicate types could be damaged by alkaline pH;<\/li>\n<li><strong>non-stick pots and pans<\/strong> must be evaluated reading their instructions;<\/li>\n<li><strong>wooden spoons\u00a0<\/strong>for cooking: if ordinary, we can recommend this way of washing because they are well-degreased by machine; if precious, this washing could be too strong, particularly the drying phase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Machine dishwashing is not recommended<\/strong> for the following items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>plastic crockery<\/strong>, particularly if<strong> children&#8217;s<\/strong>. Recent scientific studies about endocrine disruptors recommend not to put them in dishwasher.
