Convegno_26-04-2016Italian law no. 221/2015, entitled “Environmental regulations to promote green economy and to limit overuse of natural resources”, make innovations designed to improve the purchase of environmentally friendly products and services by public administration, providing for some obligations in that direction.

Public schools and other institutions should buy a part of detergents following Minimum Environmental Criteria. Bensos’ products follow those chemicals criteria in a stricter way, wholly avoiding toxic substances instead of allowing even few percentages. Among them, there are many allergens: Bensos’ products are free from them. In fact, most Bensos’ products are completely free from fragrances; the perfumed ones contain only allerge-free, phtalates-free and IFRA certified fragrances.

The “Health Environment School – (In)formation: from Airpack to Green Economy” convention, which will take place on 2016 april 28th in Caprarola (Vt, Italy), will show that the new laws may give the opportunity to tackle the issue of increase in allergenic reactions in children going to school. Specialists from Ministry of the Environment, from ISPRA, from allergy sufferer associations, from National Prevention Agency, from bio-architecture institutes will attend, together with Bensos, since it chose both a green-chemistry path, replacing “old” polluting chemistry with a green and toxic-free chemistry, and a green-economy path, proposing sustainable products likely to be purchased following the principle of responsible buying.
