Water soluble mineral alkaline powder, showing degreasing action as it saponifies greasy soil. It has an abrasive action too, useful in case of hard-to-remove soil on not delicate surfaces (ex. oven stainless steel grills, stainless steel incrustated pans, etc.).

It is suitable for heavy laundry too: as much as lye (which is made from wood ashes), this mineral salt shows degreasing properties in hot water washing.

This product shows low aquatic organisms and human toxicity, is not bioaccumulating. It is a pure substance: sodium carbonate (C.A.S. 497-19-8).
