Prima-e-dopo2Did you make construction works in your house or your hotel and lots of concrete stains show off on the earthenware or klinker floor?

Usual detergents are totally unuseful, aren’t they? Concrete remains untouched…

What to do? The best choice is to use an acid product, but not too much acid if you don’t want to corrode the grout lines between the tiles. Then mineral acids (as chloridric acid) must be avoided, for their toxic emissions too.

This is a good example of how to do that:

  • remove incrustations with a putty knife;
  • dilute either Citric Acid code ACIT (approximately 1-2%, that is 50-100 ml in 5 litres of cold water) or Descaler code AE (approximately 10%, that is 500 ml in 5 litres of cold water) if you prefer to dose liquid products. The diluted solution must be spread with a cloth or mop, paying attention not to touch any marble border with it;
  • after drying, repeat cleaning if some stains remain;
  • rinse with pure water.

If the floor is soiled not only with concrete, but with moulds or other biologic dirt too, instead of Citric Acid or Descaler you can use Hygienizing Acid code AI, to be diluted 10%. This product is particularly suitable for cheese factories floors.

Few minutes and… your floor is clean, ecologically and without toxic emissions!

Note: this treatment must be strictly AVOIDED on surfaces sensitive to acids (marble, travertine, enamelled bath tubs, etc.).  If stains are due to windows sealants or to synthetic tiles glue, please refer to resellers of these products, wher you can find solvents specifically made to dissolve them.
