Jeans2Generally denim is a very resistant cotton fabric, so we will wash it with a normal laundry detergent as Bensos’ Laundry Liquid code H. It is recommended to pair denim with coloured clothes, not with white laundry because it may lose its colour and stain the other fabrics.

Sodium percarbonate (Bleaching Powder code D) is recommended only at low dosage, as usual for coloured dresses. To clean grass or greasy stains, Liquid Castile Soap code SAPMARS is the best solution.

One thing to take into account is that denim trousers, if not prewashed by the manufacturer, may shrink. That’s why, for the first time we wash them, we recommend not to exceed 30-40°C (86° – 104°F); tumble dryer should be used at low temperatures (synthetic clothes programs).

Just after purchasing, we suggest to wash denim clothes, with the aim to remove potential allergenic substances or processing residues. Indigotin itself, contained in indigo dye, is not free of long-term toxicity; therefore the best thing is to choose light-coloured denim clothes rather than dark blue-coloured ones, particularly for kids.
