Did your son or daughter, or else an absent-minded husband, leave damp or wet dresses into the bag after sporting for a number of days… and you must solve the problem?
Here are two possible treatments, according to the fabric type:
- if clothes are strong, you can put them in a basin to soak with hot water and Bleaching Powder code D, leaving them in for about 1 hour; then drain and put dresses in washing machine with Laundry Liquid Detergent code H. If clothes are few and you prefer to wash by hand, you may soak and wash (after pretreating as stated above) in basin with the laundry Liquid Detergent, then rub and rinse well.
- if clothes are delicate, instead of Bleaching Powder it is recommended to use Hygideodorize code HN for the pretreatment. The washing then may be done with Laundry Liquid Detergent code H or with Delicate Fabrics Detergent code HD on the basis of the kind of fabric and of the user’s preference.
Please remember to clean the bag or the container too before reuse: microorganisms (bacteria, yeasts or mould) that made smelly your clothes did the same thing with the bag, as they probably colonized it. A stiff container may be cleaned with the Neutral Hygienizer code IN; a washable woven bag can be treated like clothes, as stated above.
